As the Historian of Zeta Tau Alpha, I served as the Vice President of PR and Marketing. My role encompassed content creation and management across all social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Spotify, Pinterest, YouTube, and VSCO. I handled graphic design, developed strategic plans, provided creative direction for photoshoots, edited videos, and engaged in copywriting to ensure cohesive and impactful messaging. Below is examples of my work throughout my term.

TIKTOK
Due to my TikTok strategy, I was able to grow the account from 500 to 25,000 followers within three weeks after our first viral video during recruitment. Every video I posted had a minimum of 10,000 views, with some reaching up to 2.5 million views. My strategy during recruitment was designed to outshine our competitors and included posting multiple times a day, featuring behind-the-scenes content that intrigued potential new members. This approach not only captured the attention of those watching the account but also strengthened the bond among our sisters through active engagement and interaction. The consistent and authentic content showcased the vibrant and welcoming spirit of Zeta Tau Alpha, making our chapter stand out and attract a large number of interested recruits. Following this strategy, we welcomed the largest new member class in the history of the University of South Carolina with over 200 new members.

My goals for Instagram included growing the account from 5,000 to 10,000 followers, which I successfully achieved, posting content daily, and increasing engagement through authentic and inclusive content. I created interactive campaigns such as "A Day in the Life of a Zeta," "Mental Health Monday," "Zeta Besties," and "Why Zeta Wednesday," among others. These initiatives not only fostered a spirit of pride and aspiration but also brought our sisters closer together. By sharing genuine stories and experiences, we built a stronger sense of community and showcased the nine key values of Zeta Tau Alpha, making our presence felt both within and outside the sorority.

I conceptualized, planned, creative directed, location scouted, styled, photographed, and edited posts for our social media channels. Throughout the year, I conducted over 10 photoshoots, and captured content from various events, including holidays, recruitment, executive meetings, and sisterhood activities. By meticulously planning each shoot and ensuring high-quality visuals, I was able to create engaging and cohesive content that highlighted the life of our sorority and strengthened our online presence.
